When I'm in my studio, 

when I have a paintbrush in my hand, 

there is no place I’d rather be

I'm happiest when i paint.

I hope people who see my paintings feel the same way.

My paintings are abstract.

They celebrate colour and form.

They celebrate vision.

is a part of the studio 

and celebrates the joy of painting.

Finding inner peace and purity 

are the main themes and motifs of drawings and paintings.

Minimalist forms and simple morphology are 

inspired by architecture and architectural details.

The favorite technique is acrylic on canvas, 

I also use different techniques, and I like to combine them.

My endless inspiration is the work of Elsworth Kelly.

my father Eduard and me, 

who love to paint architecture, 

each a little differently 

and each by in his and her way

Eduard is based in Uhersky Brod, 

a charming small town in the Czech Republic

used to work as an architect, 

after his stroke a few years ago, 

he found joy in painting
